Do you ever feel a wave of fear come over you out of nowhere? Nothing is pressing. You have nowhere to be. In the moment you are not in danger. However, your mind and body tell you otherwise. That is anxiety taking hold and can be triggered by a variety of things.
In this workshop, you can expect to learn a variety of techniques and strategies to help you manage your anxiety. The workshops will cover different topics such as mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy, journaling, yoga and meditation, art therapy, and relaxation techniques. Each session will provide you with hands-on activities and exercises that you can use to manage your anxiety on a daily basis. I will encourage you to practice these techniques and provide feedback on how they're working for you.
Together, we will create a supportive and non-judgmental environment where we can all share our experiences, challenges, and successes in managing anxiety. You will have the opportunity to connect with others who are also struggling with anxiety, which can be helpful in reducing feelings of isolation and loneliness.
In summary, the workshops aim to provide a comprehensive understanding of anxiety and its triggers, provide tools and techniques to manage it, and also create a sense of community.
