Connect & Restore

Restore your connection to yourself and others through loving acceptance, honest communication, and mindful movement.

We live in a world where screens are the new face-to-face contact, likes and comments have replaced handshakes and hugs, and everyone has something to say but no one is being heard. Acknowledge your need for real human connection, understand the importance of connection on our mental and physical health, and gain perspective on how we connect with the world around us! You are not alone!

  • Has the pandemic left you feeling lonelier than ever?

  • Do you feel unheard by your family, friends & community?

  • Are you moving through your days on auto pilot?

  • Have you been craving distraction-free communication?

  • Do you miss real human connection?

Taking an experiential learning approach, we will create a nonjudgmental container where we will facilitate exercises that draw out a sense of vulnerability. From communication, listening and reflection, to mindful, mantra-inspired movement, our goal is for participants to feel confident and safe as they deep dive into self-acceptance and connection.

We will ask, consider and answer Set I of the 36 Questions to Fall in Love created by psychologists Dr. Arthur Aron and Dr. Elaine Aron. These are thought provoking questions that create connection between two people by answering authentically, vulnerably and with sincerity.

Gentle Reminders

♡   The space is safe for everyone and we want to be mindful and respectful of everyone's different experiences.

♡   We must be cautious about giving advice too quickly and without a specific request. Perhaps, try asking what the sharer is open to in terms of feedback? Either empathy, a shared story, advice or nothing at all. Sometimes people just want to be heard when there has not been enough compassion to go around.

♡   Zoom room will open at 10:55am EST.

♡   Be in a quite space so there is minimal background noise.

♡   Come ready to open up, share and be vulnerable and also to hold space if necessary.

If you remember only one thing, I hope it is that no matter what, you can create human connection and togetherness with even the smallest amount of vulnerability and authenticity.
