There is a long held belief that as a practitioner you need to take any client that comes your way, no matter if they are a good fit or not. It becomes a numbers game. Quantity over quality. It is the fastest way to burn out and have the onset of resentment.

I when I first started my practice I was charging $80 an hour and working constantly. It did not matter where the person was located and what time they wanted a session. If they did not get off work until 8pm then I would see them at 9pm. I was struggling and giving everything I had to my clients with nothing left for myself or my family. It was not working.
